andy,
do you know to find a (hopefully used, good but cheap) dark room projector? any ideas
Andy,
I know a person who knows you -- sis went to Covenant. I'm good friends with Baus. I've noticed your posts on Sufjan Stevens and I'm quickly coming to greatly appreciate his music. He's a Christian with a Muslim name -- do you know anything about his background? What his ethnic background is? Whether or not he comes from a Muslim family? Thanks. Dig the pictures.

i've never asked him directly, but i heard it's armenian.
and here's his (tongue-in-cheek?) bio: http://www.sufjan.com/bio.html
Posted by: jerah at August 16, 2004 01:25 PMThere's Arabic on the inside of one of his first CD's. It says "Akra Ash-Sheytan." I'm not exactly sure of the translation. I just bought Seven Swans and it's beautiful. His background (are his parents Muslim, for instance) intrigues me, mostly because I'm involved in ministry in the Middle East. I read an article where he said he was Episcopalian.

how odd. which album is that? cause if that's what it spells out, it could mean "read, satan."
that would be beyond strange.
Posted by: jerah at August 18, 2004 01:45 PMI thought it might say "I read Satan." Something like that. My Arabic is a tad rusty. And, yes, it would be odd. It's from A Sun Came.
Omg thats right! Please come see me and my friends! ;)
