brady update

those of you who have "met" brady through this blog may have recognized him in the wedding photos over on montyfam.org. you may have also noticed that he wasn't in a wheelchair and didn't look too worse-for-wear. i had intended to get a photo of him jumping or dancing or something just to show how far he's come, but we never got around staging anything. but here you can see him with girlfriend kristin (who most of us met for the first time that weekend). he's doing very well in his recovery and seems to be in great spirits. its pretty incredible to see him walking around after the last time he visited. i finally got more details of the story of his fall (of which he still doesn't remember anything personally) and the more i find out about it the more unbelievable it all seems and the more i see God's providence in every step along the way.

...

sadly, i haven't picked up my camera to take a picture of anything since the wedding weekend. i hope to get back on the horse this week and get some new material, but it may just be rehashing more wedding photos. speaking of which - has anyone had good experiences with getting digital photos printed? and if so, where and how did you do it?

if all goes according to plan we'll be closing on the new church building wednesday afternoon. another seemingly impossible situation that has really shown how God can work in the details. we've raised over $40,000 in less than a month towards our down payment and donations keep rolling in. if you're someone who has contributed we're so thankful!

Andy, i have used snapfish for years and have had no problems with any prints from them. You have to be carefull in formatting when you add a signature and copyright on a borderless picture, but other than that they print it on Kodak paper and if you don't like the quality of a print they will send you a new one. I have got 8X10 and larger formats from them with near perfect quality. www.snapfish.com

I had some nice prints done by Prism Digital. Good prices, too.

Your shots are amazing, Andy.

Sams Club (here in Chattanooga) has a great one hour photo lab that prints up to 8 x 12. I use them exclusively for anything up to that size in color.

I know that AndyP has used Wolf/Ritz Camera. But they pop up with every new mini mall here in ATL. I use them for film and the borders are very nice. They also don't make you pay for boo-boos. I don't have a nice enough dig-camera to print photos. AHH film's better anyway!!!there I said it.

As Katie mentioned, I have been happy with Wolf/Ritz Camera. You can send your files to them online and pick them up AT ANY WOLF CAMERA about 4 hours later. Maybe more expensive than the rest, but the quality is good.
The picture kiosks at CVS and such places are okay if you don't want high quality but want them now.

Started looking at your blog because of Brady's fall -- when Baus directed readers here in order to pray for him. Glad to see how much ground he's gained in such short time.

I use sams, but I'm thinking you're wanting high quality? matt here (our new ben) has used northlight (near durty nelly's). he says the guy is fanatical about quality and raves about the results. not cheap, but really good.
