bizarre accident

okay, one of the most bizarre things i have ever seen just happened right outside of coptix. it's about 5:30pm and a few of us are just working away and suddenly we hear what sounds like a large vehicle running into the side of our building. then we see an SUV fly past the window pushing a bunch of garbage cans in front of it and slam into josiah's pickup truck parked in the coptix carport. from the picture you can see some of the wreckage. the yellow circle is where her front left tire ended up and the blue circle is what's left of our mailbox. the red arrow is the point of impact with josiah's old pickup truck. the woman driving claims there was another vehicle in the wrong lane and she swerved to dodge it, but witnesses say there were no other vehicles around. geez... so strange. thankfully no one was hurt though and with any luck josiah will get a few bucks for his truck.

...

and i thought i wasn't going to have a picture to post today... alright, gotta go home - more tomorrow.

I also want to point out that my truck WAS orignally parked where the durango's back bumper was. She pushed it like 10 feet!

I think maybe this is a warning from above to the "Carcinogen Crew" - something like "If you fellers stand in that spot too long, your days are numbered!"

Nice job with the circles and arrows, Andy.

...They was taking plaster tire tracks, foot prints, dog smelling prints, and
they took twenty seven eight-by-ten colour glossy photographs with circles
and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one explaining what each
one was to be used as evidence against us. Took pictures of the approach,
the getaway, the northwest corner the southwest corner and that's not to
mention the aerial photography.

Man, I wish I would have been here. I could have gotten a new bike out of it!

Oh well, yea, thank god it wasn't my car.

I hope Josiah's truck did not get this poor woman's car dirty. Wait, isn't that Durango a perfect match for Jennie's hair?

just a WARNING: when that building was the emporium i had a friend who was living there and in the middle of the night a car came flying through the middle of the building. he was injured of course, but survived. maybe yellow caution signs that glow should be an addition to the coptix landscape.
