scratch that idea about slowing down on the Niamh pictures. i've just got too many good ones. here she is konked out in her grandfather's arms. once again, another new title to apply to someone who's always only been "father" to me. its fun to see how quickly mom and dad have taken to their new titles though. not a single complaint about being to young for grandparenthood...
...
watched unforgiven last night. i don't think i'd seen it since it was in theatres in 1992 and i was amazed at what a dark and hopeless film it is. in my mind it was somehow just another typical, though well done, western. makes me want to go back and watch some of the old eastwood films... also makes me really want to see million-dollar baby, if it will ever come to chattanooga.
Too young for granparenthood! Man, as soon as empty nest starts to hit I think parents LONG to be grandparents. I know my dad did. Poor guy I made him wait almost 4 years!
I love the Niamh pictures. Babies have been a topic in my paintings as well, it's part of my life so why not paint it. Maybe I'll ask you for permission to use one soon? Think about it.
I can't wait to have a daughter!
Posted by: katiek at January 11, 2005 02:34 PMI forgot about the downside to living in a smaller town. Sorry Andy...Million Dollar Baby will have to wait. We might have full releases, but we also have smog, traffic, crime, and housing rentals going for about $1.50 a square foot.
From Los Angeles...
see, that's why everyone should move to nyc. every single movie in early release, no smog, incredibly low crime rates, cheap and reliable public transportation.
and rentals at about $3 a square foot, but hey. no-one's perfect. :)
ps: beautiful baby shots.

Peace!
