An Inconvenient Truth
Saw An Inconvenient Truth, Al Gore's documentary about global warming, on Saturday and found it pretty compelling. Granted, some of the claims he makes rest on information that I don't know is completely verifiable, but it cerrtainly seems like the earth and climate are responding to things humans are doing. It's definitely worth seeing if for no other reason than the conversations it starts.
Soccer
So I've been playing more soccer lately, which has been a lot of fun. (And reminded me of this funny picture of Marshall at Kris' wedding when we were taking PKs on him.) Monday nights are indoor with the co-ed recreational crew at the Chattanooga Sports Complex and we just played a pickup game tonight at the field up on Lookout Mountain on McFarland Road. I'm hoping it will turn into a semi-regular thing this summer on Sunday nights. Let me know if you're interested and I'll let you know next time we play.

Tom Waits on tour
"We need to go to Tennessee to pick up some fireworks, and someone owes me money in Kentucky," Waits said in a press release.
Tom Waits is coming to the south. Nashville, Atlanta, you name it. Please, please let me know if you know anything about getting tickets.
Oh, and if you like Tom Waits, you should check out my friend Lauris Vidal. He's like a really interesting mix of Tom Waits, M. Ward, and I'm not sure who else. And he's touring the south too, btw...
