Becki Luedde got married!

October 14th in Philly -- old friends united and celebrated. It's incredible the crowd that girl can bring together. I was telling her at the reception that it's the first time I've ever been to a wedding with two of my brothers. Anywho - we had loads of fun: danced, drank, caught up with old friends... And the 26 hours of driving in 3 days gave me a chance to get all caught up on LOST season 2 thanks to my PowerBook DVD player.

Once again, I give you the world's cutest niece... However, rumor has it she's about to get some competition from a new little brother or sister. Congrats Jess and Gel!

Stray Dogs

It's been far too long since I posted. I really should be documenting this period in my life, what with all the work I've been doing on the house and the fun we've been having on the boat -- not to mention the 60 hour weeks I've been churning out at Coptix.

So, as a return to blogging, I'll give you a little update on something we've been working on at Coptix. We've just launched another shopping cart for a company called Stray Dog Designs. These carts keep getting better and better, I think, and this one really takes the cake. Unforutnately (for me), it's one of Rob Righter's clients, not mine, but either way it's a nice site.

Their gig is scouring the backroads of Mexico for hip handmade home furnishings, furniture, and accessories to bring back state-side to sell to yuppies like you and me. The site has a lot of fun javascripty technology and a pretty slick design. Take a minute and dig through it, check out their wares, and read their story. Hope you enjoy it.

D struts his new Crumpler bag

One of my clients, Rock Creek Outfitters, hooked Coptix up with some great deals on Crumpler Bags. Crumpler then also offered to sponsor a Chattanooga scooter rally by giving away some free bags. All they asked in return was some photos of people on scooters with Crumpler bags. Hence, the photo.

Josiah thought I made a better model than he and stuck me on a scooter while Mark Cooley took photos as I circled in front of our St. Elmo offices. Anyhow, it made for a cool pic.
