The Groom's Cake
Brian Whitacre and Susan Hawkins got married back in February. I took pictures, which I've finally gotten around to posting. Brian's groom's cake is about the best I've ever seen. If you can't tell from the other pictures, the shoes matched those he wore for the wedding itself.

St. Elmo Playground Build
The residents of my neighborhood,
St. Elmo, started building a
Learning Structures playground yesterday. It's one of these deals where the community raises the money and does the construction themselves and Learning Structures supervises. I went out for a while yesterday to grab some photos and was amazed at how many people it's brought out and how well everyone is working together. It's really quite exciting to see the neighborhood come together like this and I think the playground is going to be a great addition to the neighborhood.

St. Paddy's in Savannah, 2007
A bunch of us Chattanoogans headed over to Savannah for the St. Patrick's Day festivities last weekend. Brady and Kristen King graciously hosted all 17 of us (including little Henry Ferris)! We basically took up every square inch of their house.
A pretty tame weekend, as St. Paddy's days go. We caught the parade on Saturday morning, went to an oyster roast downtown for lunch (
Oyster Shooters anyone?), and then spent the evening at the King's house.
And the dog? Guess it felt like a weekend full of dogs. There were at least 4 at the house, so they made it into a bunch of my pictures.
